The GBUFBL requires an active roster of 14 position players and 9 pitchers from either the AL or NL. Players qualify for a position by having played at least 20 games at the position last season, or by playing the position in the current season.

The pitching staff may be composed of any combination of starters and relievers. Manny Alexander, Wade Boggs and Jose Canseco are eligible. Who knows, the league might even allow a suicidal team to draft them as pitchers, since pitchers' batting stats don't count...

The league also allows a 10-man farm team, which may consist of any combination of pitchers and position players. Teams don't have to suffer the slings and arrows of the outrageous free agent pool to replace injured or slumping players. (This is also useful to demote a marginal pitcher right before he pitches in Colorado or Arizona).

Since the Zingrods' owner is prone to large numbers of farm team promotions and demotions on a weekly basis, there is no guarantee that the active roster in a given week will match the roster on this page exactly. New players added via trades or free agent acquisitions, however, will be updated on this page.
