Take Mike Piazza, shave about 100 points off his batting average and you'd have Todd Hundley. Of course, being a Mets fan, I'm not likely to say anything bad about either one (ok, I'll admit Piazza was an upgrade, but Hundley put in a lot of good years in NY and should have a few left in LA). However, in fantasy baseball (as well as in real life) Piazza's salary is about 5 times Hundley's. Thus, I can realize a substantial payroll savings and still get nearly the same power numbers (strikeouts don't count against a team in the GBUFBL, thank goodness).
