You only hear two things about this guy: 1) The incredible potential he has; and 2) The incredible poundings he received almost every time he took the mound in 1998. Of course, he did pitch at BOB (or Coors Field II, if you prefer). Maybe he'll do better in KC.

Suppan was released on 6/22/1998 in the wake of the mega-trade which brought Shane Reynolds, Rusty Greer and Tony Fernandez to the Zingrods from the Mudville Nine for Chuck Knoblauch. With the addition of Reynolds to the rotation, Suppan became superfluous.
