Bobby was the unfortunate victim of the Zingrods' schizophrenia about Chuck Knoblauch. Disappointed with Knoblauch's performance last season, the Zingrods traded him to the Mudville Nine in June, 1998 for Shane Reynolds, Rusty Greer and Tony Fernandez. We got Knoblauch back in the offseason, but Mudville remembered the previous trade and exacted a terrible price: Jones, Bernie Williams and Carlos Hernandez.
