Acquired in the 2000 preseason draft

Oh boy, is this fella a piece of work. As a real-life Mets fan, the Zingrods' owner has no sentimental attachment to this guy. Despite the bad taste it left in the Zingrods' owner's mouth, the Zingrods picked up "Loudmouth" Rocker as part of their preseason strategy of stockpiling closers. The strategy paid off in the long run, as the Zingrods were later able to trade Rocker and Jose Silva for Matt Mantei and Brian Rose on 5-22-2000.
