The Zingrods incorrectly predicted that Silva would take the Pirates' closer job from Mike Williams within a month. It didn't happen, but on 5-22-2000 they were able to trade Silva and John Rocker to Ripken's Hott Shotts for Matt Mantei and Brian Rose.
