Todd Dunwoody

OK, I can admit it now. The main reason I like this guy is that after somebody says his name, I can reply with "uhhh... huhuhuh... you said woody".

On the Zingrods roster in 1998, Dunwoody was the biggest beneficiary of the Piazza mega-deal, but as a real-life Mets fan I viewed any fantasy baseball implications as merely icing on the cake.

Dunwoody was released in the wake of the blockbuster trade on 6/18/1998 that brought Rusty Greer, Tony Fernandez and Shane Reynolds to the Zingrods from the Mudville Nine for Chuck Knoblauch. The three-for-one trade meant a couple of guys had to go, and given the Zingrods' depth at outfield, Dunwoody was the low man on the totem pole.
