Loretta is a good hitter and his versatility in the field is always a bonus on a fantasy team. However, over the winter following the 1998 season, the Zingrods were offered Manny Ramirez for Loretta and Jose Guillen. If you're interested enough in baseball to be reading this, then you should already have guessed (correctly) that Loretta and Guillen are no longer Zingrods.

UPDATE 4-26-1999: The Slaughterhouse Nine released Guillen and the Zingrods picked him back up from the free agent pool. The net result is that Loretta was traded for Ramirez straight up. I bet that would make him smile...
