Martinez, who was on the DL at the time of the trade, might seem like a throw-in, but there is no reason to think that he can't be a front-line starter again if healthy. Oh, sure, he suffers by comparison with his brother, but the gap between Ramon and PJ is pretty small in relation to the gap between, say, Greg and Mike Maddux or Cal and Billy Ripken.
